We commit to using all funds we receive, either as donations or as grants, as effectively as we can to help provide the best and widest music opportunities for children and young people in North Tyneside and the surrounding area.

When you donate to us, you can ask us to use the money for one of the listed activities if you wish, in which case 100% of your donation, plus any gift aid, will go to that activity.

We have no paid staff and do not use paid professional services unless responsible charity management requires it. We rely on volunteers and your goodwill!

Our minimal running costs include things like insurance; this website; bank account fees; room hire for essential meetings; training; volunteer expenses; etc. In our first year of operation to 31st August 2024, our running costs were a little over £500 made up from:

ongoing items:

  • insurance £239;
  • website £121;
  • bank fees £26;

one-off items:

  • a SumUp Solo payments machine £78;
  • Gift cards for our logo competition prizes £50;
  • stationery £10;
